We have a number of national awards which recognise our work in regeneration, new development and community initiatives:

Homes for Scotland award 2013

Homes for Scotland Award 2013

This award was for our Twechar regeneration project. We were commended for putting placemaking at the heart of the development.

We also received praise for encouraging the community to play a proactive role in delivering the scheme from planning to development.

Housebuilder awards 2013

Housebuilder of the Year 2013

We received this highly regarded award for the quality and design of our homes at Brooklands, Wolverton Park and Marlborough Park. The Building Awards panel of industry experts also commended the long-term commitment and investment we make in places from the outset.

RESI 2012

Landlord of the Year 2012 

This award is run by Property Week Magazine and is judged by property industry experts. We were praised for our 24 hour contact centre, in-house repairs and maintenance team and for investing over £150m to improve thousands of homes.

Urban Land Institute Award for Excellence

This award - for Wolverton Park - recognises the full development process of a project, not just its architecture or design. It's widely recognised around the world as the highest accolade for creative and sustainable land-use.

Evening Standard New Homes Award 2012

Brooklands has been highly commended in the Best Family Home category at the Evening Standard New Homes Awards for its innovative design, eco living and impressive architecture.

What We Are Proud Of Awards

Green Spaces for People scheme High Hazels' in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire has won the What We Are Proud of Awards Best Contribution to the Local Community Award for the East Midlands for the contribution it has made to the local community.

Green Apple Award

Places for People has been awarded an Apple Award for the Built Environment and Architectural Heritage, for a £16 million project aimed at improving green spaces in 75 communities.

Green Spaces for People will also be invited to have their winning paper published in the Green Book, an international reference point for best practice, so that others around the world can learn from our experience.

Places for People has been short listed in the House Builder of the Year category in 2011's Building Awards. It's a real achievement for the Group to be short listed for this award, and it demonstrates our success in creating successful communities.

Wolverton Park was named Best Large Development at the Evening Standard New Homes Awards 2010.

What House? Awards 2010

Wolverton Park was awarded Gold in the Best Brownfield Development category at the 2010 What House? Awards, adding to the Gold in the Best Mixed Use Development category at the 2009 Awards.

Housebuilding Innovation Award 2009

St Thomas' School was named the Best Partnership between a Developer and the Public Sector. The regeneration of Walker Riverside in Newcastle was highly commended in the Community Award category.

The Green Spaces for People regeneration of St Paul`s Park in Bristol has been awarded a Green Flag Award. The Green Flag Award is the national standard for parks and green spaces in England and Wales, and compliments the Local Government Street Design Award which was won by the park in 2008.

Our Rivers' Gate development in Newcastle was a winner in the 'Residential' category.

Our housing management degree course for employees, run by De Montfort University, won an Innovation Award in the 'Best training/staff initiative' category.

Gold Award for Tackling Worklessness 2008

This award recognises the work we do to get people into jobs, training and employment as well as supporting new and existing businesses.

National Home Improvement Council Award 2008

Our Wolverton Park development in Milton Keynes - a mixed-use scheme involving the refurbishment of historic buildings - won the award for 'Best Brownfield or Recycled Building Project'.

Gold awards 2007

Gold Award for Environmental Sustainability 2007

This award recognises our commitment to creating and managing communities that have a limited effect on the environment, are energy efficient and which save residents money on their fuel bills.

Scottish award

Scottish Design Award 2007

Our Upper Strand mixed-tenure development at Edinburgh's waterfront won two of these prestigious awards in the 'Best Regeneration' and 'Best Residential project' categories.
