In the community

Helping people overcome disadvantages can transform communities. We work hard to tackle problems like worklessness and financial exclusion.

Neighbourhood planning

Our approach is described by Sheffield Hallam University as a 'sector-leading initiative.' We tackle issues locally by engaging residents and building relationships with local partners like the police.

Employment support

We've developed lots of projects and activities to give people the skills and experience to get a job. In 2010/11 over 2,400 people accessed our training and employment services. Andrew is one of the young people who has benefited from our work experience programme.

Young people

We've developed a range of activities to engage, involve and support young people. Take a look at our youth theatre in Hounslow. The aim is to enable young people to become responsible, economically active citizens - and great future customers. To date over 1,300 young people have engaged in project activities and more than 250 have accessed employment.

Investing in society

We support causes that make a positive difference to communities - like the Spark Challenge. As part of our sponsorship, we provide business support and mentoring to social enterprises that tackle homelessness.

We're also partners with Homeless International - helping a slum community in Kenya with a sustainable development plan for a savings trust.
