4 steps to application

1. Decide which application path suits you. Remember - you can apply via more than one path
2. Request an application form on 0845 850 9571 or visit your local office
3. Send the completed form to: Stanley House, Clarence Dock, Leeds, LS10 1PZ
4. We'll send you an acknowledgement within 10 working days.

If your application is accepted

• You'll get an application reference number. You need this to discuss your application with us.
• We will meet you to discuss your application and check the details on your form.
• When a suitable property becomes available we'll show you around.
• You'll get at least 24 hours to make a decision.

If your application is not accepted

• We'll send you a letter detailing the reasons for our decision.

When will I get a home?

We can't tell you exactly. We can only tell you if vacancies are common or rare in the area you want to live.

We'll be able to house you more quickly in areas which have regular vacancies.
