Want to rent?

We have a wide range of homes available for rent across the
country. This section explains the different rental options we
offer, who they are for and how to apply.
Rent now, buy later
We offer two schemes
that allow you to rent a brand new home with the option to buy it
later. Try Before you Buy
and Rent to HomeBuy make it
easier for you to move from renting to buying.
Each scheme works differently but both of them have been
designed to help you save for a deposit. So, renting might suit you
now but isn’t it great to think that you could actually buy your
home in a couple of years’ time?
And, because we offer these schemes at some of our latest
developments, you’d be moving into a brand new home that’s been
beautifully designed and ready for you to move in.

Homes for market rent
We have around
850 homes for market rent - the majority of which are modern
apartments situated in vibrant city-centre locations. We advertise
the properties through local letting agents who list them on
popular websites like Rightmove. Download a list of agents
today.
Homes for affordable rent
We’ve also been
providing homes for affordable rent for over 40 years. These homes
are part-funded by the Government which means the rent can
be lower than homes offered for private rent.
For example, you can apply for one of these homes if you
are on a low income or if your current home is too small for you
and your family, if you're moving back into the area or if you are
moving with your job.
To find out if you can apply, simply call us on 0800 432
0002 (calls are free from a landline) and we will talk
things through with you. We have three different application routes
and we will advise you on which one suits you best.
If we accept your application, you will go onto a local waiting
list and we will aim to house you as soon as we can.
Our Homes for Rent booklet offers
more information on all our policies, criteria and application
routes and gives you more information on how to apply.
If you are a tenant of another housing association or council
you may be able to exchange your home with one of our tenants. This
is explained more in our Swapping Homes booklet.
