Smith's Dock Update

Ongoing works in May:
Due to continuing works at Smiths Dock, an artic truck delivering materials to the site will be arriving via the Duke Street entrance on Wednesday 14th May 2008

Ongoing works in February:
Breaking out of the old quay between docks 7 and 8
Construction of concrete wall across dock 8
Filling of Dock 8
Earthworks at head of Docks 4, 5 and 6
Temporary drainage works along northern boundary

Proposed Site Operation for March 2008:
Filling operations in Dock 8 and old quay
Piling near dock 6
Dock 6 closure wall cofferdam construction
Piling across Bairds Dock near Brewery Bond
Ongoing earthworks near Docks 4, 5, and 6

Smith's Dock Update
Monday 28th January 2008
Earthworks continuing at the head of docks 4, 5 & 6;
Concrete closure wall across Dock 8 ongoing;
Main quay wall piling close to Dock 7 nearing completion;
Temporary sewer construction commenced near boundary with Tennyson Terrace; and
Piling works near Brewery Bond are anticipated to start mid to late February.
