Lily room update:
We have been creating 'mini beasts' and the children have been enjoying making, sticking and painting different creatures. We have also been experimenting with cooking activities and have made pizza, scones and biscuits. Thank you to all of you for co operating with out ‘no outdoor shoes’ rule in the baby room we are now able to provide a cleaner and safer environment for the children.

Sunflower room update:
The Sunflower room has been focusing on 'mini beasts’ and the children have really enjoyed exploring the garden and hunting for mini beats to inspect though the magnifying glass. The children have been busy creating a beautiful garden display show casing all the mini beasts. Thank you to every one who attended our sports day, the children loved taking part in the races and competitions.

Pre-school update:
Our theme has also been 'mini beasts'. Children have enjoyed exploring the digging area and hunting for mini beasts. The children have made a weather board to learn more about our climate. We have introduced an achievement board at the top of the stairs where we will be celebrating what the children have achieved each day with notes and pictures.

Outdoor play:
Outdoor play is a strong feature of our curriculum. In the winter months can parents and carers provide wellington boots, rain coats, scarves and hats for their child. The children love to explore the garden, jumping in puddles, digging in the mud and feeling the rain and as a result we ask that the children have soft shoes or slippers to be worn indoors.

Supermarket vouchers:
Our last batch of vouchers from both Tesco’s and Sainsbury’s has enabled us to get a builders set, complete with pretend tools, various bats, balls , skittles and skipping ropes for physical play. We would be grateful if parents/carers could collect these types of vouchers in the future.click here to return to the top of the page
