Tenancy support

Struggling to manage at home? Our floating support service has
been developed to help you manage any issues that could affect your
tenancy or your ability to be happy in your home.
A fully trained support worker will visit you on a regular basis
to help with things like sorting out debts, speaking to your
landlord and accessing other services such as healthcare.
We can provide support up to a maximum of two years. You
might benefit from this service if you’ve just moved into a home of
your own for the first time. Perhaps you were living in supported
housing before and you’re just getting used to living alone.
The aim of the service is to give you more independence, helping
you to keep your tenancy and improve your future prospects.
We can help you to:
- set up home
- manage your money better
- deal with any debts or rent arrears
- fill in forms to apply for benefits or jobs
- access other local services
- handle any difficult situations.
To find out if this service is available in your area, contact
the Supporting People Team at your local council. You will need to
apply for the service through Supporting People.
