His Royal Highness the Duke of Cornwall visited ZeroC's Trevethow Riel development in Truro during a royal tour of Cornwall this week.
During an informal site visit, the Duke was introduced to the buyers of the first home completed on the site, who invited the Prince in for a guided tour of their new property.
Prince Charles later inspected the show home and was guided by site manager Mark Talling who highlighted the progress being made on the current phase of the development.
Cornish for 'royal residence' Trevethow Riel is being built on land which is owned by the Duchy of Cornwall. The two and three storey homes have been designed to reflect the very best of traditional architecture; ensuring homes of outstanding quality and distinctive style.
Peter Lacey, Managing Director of ZeroC said,
"'It is a real privilege to be delivering this landmark development in partnership with the Duchy of Cornwall. Prince Charles recognised the hard work put in by the team on site, and in meeting one of our purchasers heard how pleased they are with their new home from ZeroC."
The development consisting of 102 new homes will be delivered across a further four phases during the next two years.
