Harvesters Way has been named Affordable Housing Development of the Year at the Scottish Home Awards on 14 June.

The £19m housing development in Edinburgh has brought 183 much needed affordable homes to the city, delivering a wide range of housing opportunities for families.

Judging the entry, the development was referred to as an outstanding example of community regeneration, with praise for how the project was carried out calling it a very worthy winner.

This is the second award this year for the scheme which was recently commended in the Homes for Scotland Awards where judges said it was an excellent large scale example of urban regeneration with good placemaking and urban design.

The development also won the Affordable Housing Development Award in the 2017 CIH Scotland Excellence Awards.
