Thirty five new homes at Fakenham in North Norfolk have been handed over to Cotman Housing Association bringing much needed affordable housing to the area.

The Places for People Developments team worked together with Cotman Housing Association to deliver the £4.3 million all affordable housing scheme known as Saxon Way. The development was built with the support of £2.3 million of recycled grant funding as part of our programme with Homes England.

All thirty five properties have now been let ensuring local families in housing need have a place to call home.

Jane Warnes, managing director for Cotman Housing Association said, “This is a really important scheme in the area which shows a huge commitment to affordable housing in our region. We’re committed to providing houses for people at all stages of their lives so to see it come to fruition and have customers living in their new homes is fantastic.

Residents have also been offered the opportunity to sign up with Cotman Housing Association’s Sport England funded project, Make Your Move, which supports people who have moved house to find low cost or free physical activities in their local area.
