We are supporting budding entrepreneurs in Milton Keynes with the Pop Up Business School.
Teaming up with Milton Keynes Council and housing association, The Guinness Partnership, we are helping to provide free training for aspiring entrepreneurs interested in setting up their own business.
From 2-13 November, young people in Milton Keynes will be able to access a range of free online courses, helping them turn their great ideas and skills into a business. Attendees will get guidance and advice from successful entrepreneurs and business professionals on topics including; online marketing, building confidence and legal advice.
We are supporting the Pop Up Business School with funding for the courses, which will focus on helping young people in the local community turn their business dreams into reality.
Courses will welcome anyone in the area who has an interest in starting their own business, with no prior knowledge or experience in business needed.
This isn’t the first time we’ve worked together with the Pop Up Business School to make a difference. Earlier this year, the Group partnered to deliver a week-long national course which attracted over 200 prospective entrepreneurs from across the country.
David Cowans, Group CEO of Places for People said: “We have seen directly how challenging the current pandemic has been, and the impact on job opportunities for our own customers and communities. The free course from the Pop Up Business School will help give local people the tools they need to develop the next generation of innovative businesses in the local area."
Budding entrepreneurs can sign up to the free Pop Up Business School here.
