Places Foundation, the Group’s charity, has awarded its first IMPACT grants.
The IMPACT Fund offers grants to projects which aim:
‘To improve the quality of life for people and communities particularly those who suffer disadvantage as a result of exclusion from the labour market and inadequate access to essential services’.
17 projects from across the Group have been successful in securing a share of £100,000 of funding, allowing them to deliver positive change.
Popularity for grants was exceptionally high, with project proposals totalling over £230,000 being submitted.
Here are the chosen projects alongside the priority theme they aligned with:
All of the projects demonstrated a strong correspondence with Places Foundation’s charitable objectives, offered value for money and were underpinned by the IMPACT criteria.
We’ll be showcasing some of the great projects that received funding in the Social Impact Annual Report.
Thank you to everyone who applied for funding and look out for more funding opportunities in the future!
