Making a payment

You can pay your rent weekly, fortnightly or monthly, but its important that it's paid in advance. It's your responsibility to pay rent even if you claim housing benefit.

You risk losing your home if you don't pay your rent.

If you are struggling to pay your rent then please let us know. Our specially-trained staff can arrange a payment plan. We'll do our best to make sure that it's fair and affordable.

We offer a range of options for you to make your payments.

Rent and service charges

Between April 2016 and April 2019 our social housing rents will reduce by 1% each year.*

We will write to you at least 28 days before any changes are made to your rent charges.

We change our assured tenancy rents in April each year. Secure rents increase every 2 years from the date of the last increase. Check your tenancy agreement for more information.

*Exemptions apply, such as ‘specialised supported accommodation’. A very small number of Living+ /Cotman Supported & Sheltered customers will see an increase in their rent charge in April 2018.
