Touchstone earns two wins at the Bath Property Awards

– 1 min read

Touchstone, part of Places for People, had a double win at this year’s Bath Property Awards.

The event celebrates the dynamic property sector in Bath, shining a light on companies across the industry who have helped shape the city.

Touchstone received two wins at the awards: Employer of the Year, and Winner of Winners.

Putting our People First

Explaining the first of Touchstone’s awards, the judges branded the team, ‘a thoughtful company that puts staff wellbeing at the heart of business’.

The judges also highlighted their Brilliant Place to Work (BP2W) reward initiative, which sees colleagues nominated by their managers for going above and beyond for their team, customers or clients. To date, more than 85 colleagues have received well-deserved rewards and recognition through the scheme.

Through the BP2W initiative, Touchstone’s team of over 200 colleagues was well supported when Covid-19 hit, receiving help with adapting to working from home, balancing work commitments with home schooling and other responsibilities, and in maintaining good mental wellbeing through guided relaxation sessions.

Pushing boundaries to become ‘winner of winners’

After awarding Touchstone the most prestigious award of the evening, the judges said: “Touchstone’s accelerating reputation sees it put hundreds of clients and employees at the forefront, whilst successfully managing a diverse portfolio of over 16,000 homes. It is constantly pushing boundaries and demanding excellence.”

Commenting on the double win, Helen Kings, Managing Director at Touchstone, said: “I’m delighted that we won not one, but two awards at the prestigious Bath Property Awards.”

“Neither of these wins would have been possible without our colleagues’ hard work and contribution, as well as all their feedback and support of our Brilliant Place to Work scheme. These wins are a recognition of everything we’ve achieved together over the past 12 months, and I’m really proud. Well done to the whole team!”
