– 1 min read

This year marked the 10th anniversary of the RESI Awards – one of the most highly acclaimed awards in the industry. To celebrate, the organisers introduced a special one-off award to celebrate the best Residential Company of the Decade – and we’re delighted to announce Places for People has won.

The event was held on 1 December with the award presented to Group Executive Director – Development, Scott Black and Group Marketing Director, Deb Owen-Ellis Clark.

The one-off award category was open to all companies from across the property sector and was introduced to celebrate outstanding achievements in the past decade.

Judges recognised the Group’s work over the last 10 years – a time in which Places for People has created diverse, sustainable and affordable-led neighbourhoods.

David Cowans commented: “We are absolutely thrilled to have received such a special award.

“This award is testament to the wide-range of activities we do across our Group to create places that work for everyone. We have always been unwavering in our commitment of creating and managing diverse and sustainable communities and making a positive difference which benefits people and places across the UK.

“I’d like to thank everyone across the Group for their hard work in realising our vision over the last 10 years.”
