LAND SECURITIES AND PLACES FOR PEOPLE FORM STRATEGIC JOINT VENTURE
Land Securities and Places for People today announced the formation of a 50:50 joint venture which will acquire in excess of 2,400 acres of land to the north of Harlow to help meet much-needed housing and employment needs over the next 25 years.
The majority of the 2,400 acres will be purchased from Ropemaker Properties for an undisclosed sum and is subject to the site`s inclusion in the final East of England Plan, which is expected to be released later this summer. A further statement will be issued when the conditions of purchase have been satisfied.
The joint venture plays to the strengths of both organisations, combining the large scale.....
