Community Safety Masterclass

This practical masterclass, led by Iain Wightwick of Unity Street Chambers, will provide delegates with an overview of both Respect Orders and Closure Orders. We'll be covering what they are, when they may be appropriate to pursue, and the steps required to apply for them. The session will also explore what to expect throughout the court process, including practical guidance and evidential requirements to support applications.

This session will be led by Iain Wightwick, a leading barrister in the community safety field whose practical guidance and sector insight have helped shape approaches to ASB and community safety across the housing sector.

Combining both topics into one in-depth session, delegates will gain a clear understanding of these important enforcement tools, the evidence required to support an application, and key considerations when deciding whether to pursue an order.

The masterclass includes an extended Q&A session, with presentation slides and a recording provided afterwards for future reference.
