We offer support with mobile data, digital devices, digital skills training and affordable broadband to help you make the most of life online.

Free mobile data
Keeping connected shouldn't be a luxury. Through our partnership with Vodafone eligible Customers can access a free 6-month SIM card with:
- Unlimited UK calls
- Unlimited UK texts
- 40GB of data each month
How to get your SIM
You can collect a SIM card from one of our digital hubs across the UK. If you're unable to visit a hub, we may be able to post one directly to your home.

Affordable phones, tablets and laptops
Having the right device is essential for staying connected, applying for jobs, accessing services and developing new skills.
We work with Computers 4 Good to provide access to professionally refurbished smartphones, tablets and laptops. All devices are securely data-wiped, tested and refurbished before being supplied.
Please note: Device provision is subject to eligibility criteria.
Help reduce e-Waste
If you have an unwanted laptop, tablet or smartphone, you can help support digital inclusion by donating it to Computers 4 Good.
- Donate a device: Email inclusion@placesforpeople.co.uk and we'll help you arrange a donation.
- Buy refurbished: Visit www.computers4good.org to browse affordable refurbished devices.
Digital skills and confidence
Getting online is about more than having a device. It's also about having the skills and confidence to use it safely.
Support from AbilityNet
We work with AbilityNet to provide free digital skills support for people who are:
- Aged 55 and over
- Living with a disability
Support can include:
- Setting up a new device
- Staying safe online
- Managing online accounts and finances
- Using email, video calls and social media
AbilityNet may also be able to provide one-to-one support in your home, subject to volunteer availability.
Local digital skills hubs
We are developing a network of community-based digital skills hubs with trusted local partners across the UK. These hubs provide friendly, face-to-face support to help you build confidence online.

Cheaper broadband
If you receive certain government benefits, you may be able to reduce your internet costs through a Broadband Social Tariff.
These discounted packages are offered by major providers and can start from around £10 per month, helping households save money while staying connected.
You may be eligible if you receive benefits such as:
- Universal Credit
- Pension Credit
- Other qualifying benefits
