Opening an online account is the simplest way to report a repair, view your rent account or make a payment.

You can use your online account to manage your home 24 hours a day, using a device that suits you, whether that’s a computer, a tablet or even your smartphone. Simply sign in to your online account and have control of your home all in one place.

It only takes a couple of minutes to create your account. All you need is your Payment Reference Number and an email address. Your Payment Reference Number can be found on your rent statement.

How do I register for an online account?

Creating an account is easy, and it only takes a few minutes. All you need is your email address and payment reference number.

I've forgotten my password, how do I reset this?

If you’ve forgotten your password, don’t worry, it’s easy to reset. Just head to the log in page, where you’ll see an option to reset your password.

We’ll send a unique code to either your registered mobile number or email address, whichever you choose. Once you’ve received the code, you can enter it and set a new password straight away. 

You can also request a one-time password. This is a unique code sent to your mobile, allowing you to log in securely without needing to remember your password. 

My email address has changed, how do I change this on my account?

To change the email address linked to your account, first log in using your current email or mobile number. We’ll send you a verification code to confirm it’s you. Then, go to your account settings and select your contact details. From there, choose, change your email address, enter the new email address you would like to have, and we’ll send a confirmation code to your new email.  

Once you enter that, your email will be updated. 

My tenancy is ending and I would like to close my account, how do I do this?

You can close your portal account by logging in and going to your account settings. There, you'll see the option to close your account. You’ll be asked to provide a reason and confirm the closure, and you’ll need your password. Once that’s done, your account will be closed.

Is my online account secure?

Yes, your online account is protected using secure, industry-standard technology. Your login details are unique to you, and our website uses industry-standard best security (AES 256-bit encryption) and Multi-Factor Authentication to keep your details safe and protected.  

It’s important not to share your username or password with anyone, as that could give them access to your account. If you’re ever concerned that your account security has been compromised, please contact us straight away at inclusion@placesforpeople.co.uk so we can place a hold on your account if needed.

Can I view and print my statement?

Yes, you can download your statement and you will be able to print from your computer.

Where do I find my payment reference number?

You can find your payment reference number on your rent statement and in the ‘Rent and Payments’ section of your online account. It’s useful to have this number handy whenever you’re making a payment or contacting us about your rent.
