Celebrating Community at Leeds Pride

What an incredible day we had celebrating diversity, inclusion and belonging at Leeds Pride - and despite the rain making a determined appearance, it certainly didn’t dampen our spirits! 

The streets were alive with colour, music, and an overwhelming sense of Community as thousands came together to champion love, authenticity and equality. For us, it was a powerful reminder of why events like Pride matter so much: they create space for People to show up exactly as they are, to be seen, heard and celebrated. 

As the UK’s leading Social Enterprise, our purpose is to create #APlaceForEveryone — and that commitment doesn’t stop with the Communities we serve. It also lives within our organisation, through the way we support our People every day. We are proud to foster a workplace culture where individuality is respected, differences are embraced, and everyone is encouraged to bring their whole selves to work. 

It was especially heartwarming to see our Colleagues attending alongside friends and family, sharing laughter, waving flags and soaking up the atmosphere together. The energy was infectious, and the smiles captured in these vibrant snapshots of the day say far more than words ever could. Moments like these reinforce just how strong we are when we stand together. 

Thank you to everyone who joined us, represented us so brilliantly and helped make the day such a memorable one. Your presence, allyship, and enthusiasm are what turn values into action.
