Elim Housing now fully integrated into Places for People

Elim Housing has today been fully integrated into Places for People Group (PfP), strengthening investment in Customers’ homes and Communities across Bristol, Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.

Following its merger with PfP in December 2025, Elim Housing’s 820 homes and its Colleagues are now fully part of the wider PfP Group.

The integration means Elim Customers will continue to be supported by the same neighbourhood teams with their established local knowledge and expertise, strengthened by PfP’s financial strength and wider resources.

Elim’s specialist services, including homelessness prevention and supported accommodation, will continue to play an important role across the region.

This will complement PfP’s long history of supporting people at risk of homelessness in Bristol including the delivery of modular homes as part of its Space to Start campaign, with 20 in total now proving temporary accommodation in the area.

The merger will also provide greater capacity to invest in existing homes, improve services and explore opportunities to deliver more high-quality, affordable housing and specialist accommodation across the Communities Elim has served.

Greg Reed, Group Chief Executive Officer at Places for People, said:

“From the outset, we have recognised the strength of Elim’s local relationships, specialist expertise and deep commitment to supporting Customers and Communities across Bristol and Gloucestershire. Those strengths are now combined with the scale and resources of the wider PfP Group.

“Most importantly, this is about what we can do for Customers. By bringing our organisations together, we can strengthen investment in homes, services and Communities, while retaining the local knowledge and relationships that make such a difference to People’s lives.

“I’d like to thank everyone at Elim and PfP who has worked hard to make this integration a success. We look forward to building on Elim’s proud history and delivering even more for Customers and Communities in the years ahead.”
